Doing as coach instructed I went back into basic training, applying what I am listening to on live charts in sim mode. I started the morning off and determined the altitude was high and price was dropping, well of-course I missed the opportunity I should have taken but altitude was still high I jumped down to the 10m chart and placed a DBD shame on me I did not even look at the altitude on the 10m and it did not go in my favor. I was in Gold not the ES
So I stopped and continued basic training and it pointed that out to me (silly me) I really should know this by now; ya I complicated it. Back testing the lessons in the room and in basic training as well as drawing it in manually live in sim mode is a powerful learning opportunity and Will keeps telling us apply it to whatever style you want to trade and it will work is 100% right on.

The live rooms have been great this week Will, I love it! Have really made things simpler for me. Took two trades yesterday and they were both winners, plus one on gold that went to breakeven 
davidtrunk and everyone else, how do you backtest? What is the easiest way for you? I find it a bit hard to backtest multiple timeframes at once

Mattias I back test the time frames I want to trade so I will first put a channel on monthly if I can, if its not possible I look at altitude and direction. Then I go to daily and see if it jives, if I see important supply or demand, or break outs of rectangles or pennants I mark it to all charts then see what it looks like on other charts. I have been marking swings on daily and seeing the reaction on 240. For shorter `opportunity I mark the swings on the 240 to all charts with a rectangle and see what it looked like on the 10m. Doing this I draw flags and pennants and mark to all charts and see what it did on different time frames, no more then 3.
Apply the what I learn to real time and I have been able to have successful day trades. Last week Gold did 2 perfect bull flags and I caught them on the break out of those flags I tried that today at the wrong location buy not looking at altitude when I jumped from 240m to 10m shame on me Basic training very specifically points out not to do that.
